0106About

It isn't a tour.

GBCC is a program where Korean Bitcoiners spend a few days inside another city's Bitcoin community.

It isn't a package tour and it isn't a conference. We step into a city where Bitcoin is already part of daily life, and join the people who live it there.

What you see there stays with you. GBCC builds that kind of room on purpose.

01

Inside, not next to

You join Taipei's Bitcoiners at their meetups and workspaces. Not a tourist route.

02

Bitcoin-only

Conversations with people who have looked at Bitcoin, and only Bitcoin, for a long time.

03

A series, not a one-off

It does not stop at one city. The first room where Korean and Asian Bitcoiners actually recognise each other.

0406Philosophy

Bitcoin, in the end, happens off the screen.

Most of us became Bitcoiners in a room where we met someone in person.

GBCC builds that kind of room once a year, in a different city.

Bitcoin grows differently in every city. Taipei's Bitcoin is not Seoul's; it is not San Salvador's. The differences only show up when you go and look.

0606FAQ

Things people ask.

  • II don't know much about Bitcoin. Can I still join?

Yes. GBCC is about people and a city. Curiosity is enough.

  • IIWhat should I bring?

A Lightning wallet installed before you arrive (Corn Wallet, Wallet of Satoshi, Blink or similar). Otherwise: passport, the usual travel kit, travel insurance.

  • IIIIs it okay if I only speak Korean?

The leads run things in Korean. Local meetups mix in English, with translation and help close at hand. Wanting to be there counts for more than language.

  • IVWill it be awkward if I come alone?

Most people come alone. After a few days in a small group, you tend to leave knowing each other.

  • VAre flights and lodging included?

Both lodging and flights in Taipei are arranged by the organizers. The group flies together out of and back into Incheon, with the leads alongside.

  • VIWill there be other city editions?

Yes. After Taipei: El Salvador, then Switzerland. A 2027 edition is also in planning. GBCC is a series, not a one-off.
