Inside, not next to
You join Taipei's Bitcoiners at their meetups, their workspaces, their late dinners. Company, not audience.
GBCC · Edition 01
A few days to see another city's Bitcoin in person. Starting with Taipei.

0106About
GBCC takes a small group of Korean Bitcoiners into the everyday life of another city's Bitcoin community.
It isn't a package tour and it isn't a conference. For a few days you sit at the meetings, the back rooms and the dinner tables of the people who already live it there.
What you see there sticks. GBCC sets up that kind of room on purpose.
You join Taipei's Bitcoiners at their meetups, their workspaces, their late dinners. Company, not audience.
No alts, no NFTs, no Web3 noise. Conversations with people who have looked at one thing for a long time.
It does not stop at one city. The first room where Korean and Asian Bitcoiners actually recognise each other.
0206Experience
No fixed itinerary. Just the things that happen when you breathe the same air for a few days.
Confirmed EventWe mark the day Bitcoin first paid for something real, alongside the Bitcoiners of Taipei.
btcsquad.asiaThe standing meetup of Asian Bitcoiners. An hour at the same table tends to be enough.
On-siteCoffee, a meal, a cab — paid for in real time at Taipei cafés and shops. Read about it for years; it lands the first time you actually do it.
Field visitVisits to the rooms local Bitcoiners have built, to see what Bitcoin looks like once it has become daily.
CulturalJiufen, Shifen, Yehliu, Ximending. Days you remember as landscape rather than as schedule.
TogetherMorning walks, night markets, a last drink before the airport. Most of what you remember happens off the schedule.
0306Edition 01 · Taipei
There is no minute-by-minute schedule. Only what is in the room.

Land in Taipei, drop bags at the Ximending base, ease into a quiet welcome dinner. The first conversations begin here.

The main meetup with Taipei's local Bitcoiners. Same city, same date, same reason for showing up.

The Bitcoin Squad Asia meetup. Out of the city by day, through Jiufen and Shifen. Long, slower conversations after dark.

A last walk along the Yehliu coast, a last meal back in the city, and the flight home.
The detailed schedule is shared with confirmed participants once it has been settled with the local community. Days flex with mood and weather.

0406Philosophy
The moments we became Bitcoiners were the ones where we met someone in person.
GBCC sets up that kind of room once a year, in a different city.
Bitcoin grows differently in every city. Taipei's Bitcoin is not Seoul's; it is not San Salvador's. The differences only show up when you go and look.
And one person you meet there becomes how you talk about the city back home.
0506Hosts
Host Organization
Seoul's Bitcoin home base. The room where Korean Bitcoiners meet, learn and work.
Host Organization
A weekly Saturday community continuing the long Bitcoin conversation. The other half of GBCC.

Operations and the day-to-day. The face you'll see most across the four days.
0606FAQ
Yes. GBCC is about people and a city. Curiosity is enough.
A Lightning wallet installed before you arrive (Phoenix, Wallet of Satoshi or similar). Otherwise: passport, the usual travel kit, travel insurance.
The leads run things in Korean. Local meetups mix in English, with translation and help close at hand. Wanting to be there counts for more than language.
Most people come alone. After a few days in a small group, you tend to leave as a group.
Lodging in Taipei is arranged by the program. Flights are booked individually; we point you to the right schedule.
Yes. After Taipei: El Salvador, Switzerland, Prague, Japan. GBCC is a series, not a one-off.
